bunting today, huh? So I guess was Dominic Smith also bunting today? What was going on?

DeSarsena, Russell was pitching and DeSarsina and Amar watching and Mickey Calloway was on the side of the cage watching.

I didn't think he was bunting very well, to be honest with you, but I guess he missed that day in spring training when you would normally practice punt in. It doesn't make any sense. Eddie, why is he not playing? What's the purpose here? Did something happen? Is he in the doghouse or something? No, you know, honestly, I mean, he's been hitting fairly well.

He really has. I think he did have some bat-up bats the last couple of games that he played. He's 10 for his last 30, which is for them as someone who's a star. That's true. It's hard to take a guy hitting about 300. I mean, he just – I think he had a seven-game hitting streak. And, you know, anybody's got some game.

I think sure he could be playing the team, I would say. But he did have a couple of, you know, he had some bat at Bats where he kind of fell into old habits, you know, going fishing after balls. He shouldn't fish after out on three pitches, that kind of thing. So, I don't know. I guess they saw something they wanted to sit him down for a couple of games.

Made no sense. It's almost like they wanted to prove a point with Reyes, too. True, yeah. And then he looked bad, though, doing it. I mean, he didn't even come close to getting a hit yesterday. I mean, and I pulled for Jose, but he looks terrible. Yep. Let me get to Saturday night because you were the big fact of Saturday night.
