all right we're here with uh one of the uh quarterbacks christian hackenberg joins us now christian mike

francesa on the fan in new york welcome how are you yes sir i'm doing well thanks right nice to talk to you

know you've been a uh a topic obviously since you got to town and uh on on this show and on all the shows

and uh this first time i've got a chance to talk to so how are things going things are going well I appreciate the opportunity yeah so um you know Todd didn't give me

much he said we haven't made a decision yet I'll make it the week after the giant game

giant game's going to go a long way how do you think things are going in your competition this

year you know I feel really good about

where i'm at um you know physically and mentally i think it's been a good camp a good spring um

but ultimately just taking it one day of time trying to build on on uh on where i'm going and the

things i'm learning and then uh you know moving forward with that what's the hardest part of of making the

transition from a college quarterback to a to a starting NFL quarterback is it mental is

a physical what is it I think it's a little combination of both you know you got some some things

that are being asked you to do you know fortunately I had a little bit of experience with that my freshman year with Bill

O'Brien's system.

But, you know, I think it's just being able to come in and get comfortable and build on

some things and stack wins every day and just feel good about where you're at.

Was it a transition when you got new coaching now again and got new assistance in here and got a new quarterback coach in here?

Is that a whole new learning curve for you when that happens?

I mean, something new gets handed to you, you know, there obviously is a little bit of a learning curve and you got to get a feel for what they want out of you.

So, you know, I think ultimately that's kind of the way of this league, though.

You know, everyone's kind of rotating in and you've got to be able to adapt and learn.

So, you know, I kind of embrace that this off-season.
