all this uh the NFL schedule stuff, and this, you know, very public negotiation that the NFL is going through. They won at 18, they can't get it started. Now they'll settle for 17. But, you know, the players, if they're smart, they shouldn't be trying to get paid off in preseason games because the NFL has nothing. They have to get rid of the preseason games. They should still hold

out for money because the NFL wants more playoffs. They want to start the season later. They want

to go to mid-February and they want to do it so they can knock it out of the park with the

streaming numbers when they get the next negotiation.

So with all that, the players, if they're smart, will hold out for a bundle of cash.

Well, let me just – I'll lay out the landscape for you here, and I think it's – you know,

maybe a little misunderstood by the public that the last set of negotiations, the face-to-face negotiation between the league and the players

was the beginning of September, a couple days before the season started.

And because DeM Morris Smith is doing his team visits right now, those aren't supposed to pick

back up until the middle of October.

And really, at the point they were at a few weeks ago, they're not anywhere close to a deal.

They can hammer away at the minor stuff, but, you know, really, you know, the players are looking for a bigger, a bigger piece of the pie.

Which they should.

Bigger pieces of revenue split.

And the owners are looking for more games.

And both sides have sort of stood their ground on what the other is looking for.
