How about, all right, as you got a couple days to kind of contemplate here, what was your thoughts of your first year of managing a team that played

as well as your team did in the race that it's in right now? Well, it's been, you know, so far

everything I could have hoped for from just from a work environment as far as, you know,

loving who I get to go to work with every day, from the front office to my coaches,

to the players in the room.

You know, you always want to be a place where, you know, you can't wait to get to every day. And I would say my biggest takeaway is I can't wait to get to the ballpark every day, and it has a lot to do with the people I get to work with. And I know we've put ourselves now, you know, I feel like we've put ourselves in a good position to have what we hope is a special season. But we also understand

it's a long way to go. And we've only kind of set the table a little bit. Now it's on us to go

out and play as consistently as we can the last two months

and hopefully get to where we want to go by October.

6.53 is a terrific winning percentage in a normal year. It's not a normal year.

Do you think your team played to potential and did what you could expect it?

I mean, do you think there's more in a tank or do you think your team's played really well? How would you categorize them that when they're sitting four and a half games out, three in the loss, but have played 650 baseball? Yeah, look, to play, you know, to have the win-loss record that we do, you have to play well to achieve that.

You know, that being said, I look across the board at our club,

and I think there's absolutely more in the tank.
