The NFL came down hard, and I mean for them extremely hard, putting out a statement, attacking the NFLPA,

which they have accused of what they called in a release,

shameful tactics for them basically starting a campaign,

a whisper campaign to the media about the victim in the Ezekiela case.

And they went so far as to say, hey, this is the reason

in cases like this of domestic violence, in cases of sexual assault, the biggest reason that

victims do not come forth and testify is because their lives are going to be discredited

and there is going to be a campaign just like this to shame and to degrade the victim to try and win the case.

and this wasn't just going after some sheistle lawyer
