And on this Memorial Day weekend, as we get ready to take the first real look at the baseball season,

a little more than a quarter into the season. Obviously, all smiles in New York, and we will

get to that with Bobby Valentine in just a couple of minutes. But there is some reason for

at least caution, if not concern, because both teams have their issues, which we will get into as we take a look at the season as it is now reached that first measuring point, that historic measuring point of the season, where you take your first look at where your team is in relation to everybody

else and how the standings look for the first time.

And from a New York perspective, they look very, very good.

A couple of things here as we get ready for this holiday weekend.

Obviously, an enormous game five for the Rangers who have nodded the series up and done it in an impressive fashion with a commanding win-in-game number of four.

And it is obviously given all Ranger fans a very good deal of hope that they can basically run the table here.

Win game five, win game six, and move on to the conference finals.

You know, it would be hard, you would think, to play all of the first six games

where the home team wins and then have a breakthrough in the seventh game.

Breakthroughs in the seventh game are very hard anyway.
