Today we're going to do a mailbag on the lockdown Bengals podcast, but there are a few

quick news items that I wanted to hit first.

And the first one that I want to talk about is an interesting quote from Mike Brown during

the pep rally, the postseason celebration in Cincinnati that occurred this week.

And Brown said that the Bengals want to do some things to help Joe Burrow.

He spoke positively, of course, of his franchise quarterback, calling him accurate,

tough as nails, a smart player that shines through.

He also said that he thinks that the Bengals have a core of a top team

and that they'll add to it because he thinks that they can make it better.

This to me is interesting from Mike Brown.
