You know, the Knicks showed what the Knicks should have been showing all four games

and that they should be able to dominate the Atlanta Hawks when they put their nose of the grindstone

and they play defense.

And quite frankly, you know, sitting McHale Bridges for as long as they did, it works.

So Mike Brown made some adjustments.

Obviously, there's a ton of articles about Josh Hart and his defensive playmaking.

And in those articles, even Josh Hart is saying that I'm not shooting the ball well,

so I need to actually participate in another area to help support the team.

And then everybody talks about the infectiousness of his defensive play

and how it raises

everybody else's play.

But more importantly to me was the fact that Mike Brown did make the adjustment.

Deuce McBride did play well.

Their defense was smothering and they forced 19 turnovers.

That's how you want this team to play.

If they are going to have a chance to win a championship,

defense has to be first and foremost.

And then, you know, the guys that are actually participating on offense

that are making shots are the ones that should be on the court.

And I think Mike Brown deserves credit for making those decisions because going into that game, we're talking about how Quinn Snyder was out coaching him in this series.

So maybe that flipped on Saturday night.

Well, hopefully it did for one game and the better team in this series looked like the Knicks finally.
