| 13:04.0 | So all this music is basically inspired by various traditions from the island of Puerto Rico, where I'm from, |
| 13:16.0 | both cultural and some musical traditions, some folkloric traditions, were the seed for a lot of this original compositions. |
| 13:23.9 | That last piece you heard was called Milag Rosa. |
| 13:26.6 | And that one is sort of inspired by a very, very deep and unique tradition |
| 13:30.1 | from Puerto Rico called the tradition of the promesa. |
| 13:32.5 | So like a promise you make to a religious deity in this case. |

| 13:38.3 | al-a-vis Grosa, miraculous virgin. |
