And if I can tell a personal story, I remember years and years and years ago when laser discs first started, which was somewhere back around World War II,

I guess. I was a young, broke art department, swing gang, crew guy on, and could not yet afford one.

But the thing that really made me decide I had to save up was that a taxi driver was released

on Laserdisc with this thing called an audio commentary track in which the director, Martin

Scorsese, was going to talk all the way through the film.

And I thought, my God, this is everything you can possibly want.

And so I did.

I saved up forever and I finally got my taxi driver laser disc.

It was C.A.V.

So it flipped about eight times over the course of the film, kind of like old eight tracks.
