The home of common sense. This is talk. A bit of a mixed bag this morning, really, but I mean, it's been quite a week, isn't it? I mean, when we sort of look back on what Kirstehm has done, he seems to be getting more robotic with every week that passes. You know, I don't quite know what exactly is going wrong. But what I do know, I wrote a piece in the sun this week saying, you know, this Afghan story is such a scandal.

It's so horrendous and so ridiculous and tells you everything that you hate about basically the establishment in this country,

how they'd love to keep things secret from you, how they don't want you to know about things,

how they've wasted billions and billions of pounds, and they're about to waste even more billions, according to the Telegraph. I just don't see how he survives. I know I say it a lot, but I just don't see how he does. The only thing that he could be protected by, I think, is the lack of other options, just because he is the one who won the general election just because even some of his

challenges west street and could well lose his seat if a basically cool general election was made

so that's that that's not a very positive spin though is it it would be purely because of

the fact that the Labour Party in general is a busted flush that that would mean that it really is

I mean I haven't asked you this before but I mean have you ever seen anything like this collapse of any government within the short space of time they've been in?

No, not so. I was saying to the other. I think Kirstarmer is in with a shout as being on most disastrous Prime Minister ever.

It's not to say that he hasn't got, you know, there are other people with much bigger scandals, much bigger disasters on their rap sheets, like.

But the fact that he can't do anything, like he can't govern, he can't advocate. you know, there are other people with much bigger scandals, much bigger disasters on their rap sheets,

but the fact that he can't do anything, like he can't govern, he can't act,

he can't get any reform through Parliament, even though he's got this enormous majority.

I genuinely don't think we've ever seen someone as useless as this.

That's it, like his defining characteristic.

Yeah, when he did that thing last week in the podcast and described himself as a hard bastard, and we did it on Plank of the Week, and Jeremy Carler actually said, well, how about useless bastard? Because that's kind of what he is. I mean, that's really the word useless is the one. If you ask people out there on the street, you know, can you give me one word to describe Kirstama? It would probably be useless. No, absolutely. And the problem is that might be okay if the world was ticking over just about all right. If economically we're in a decent place, if there weren't burning social issues and divisions needed to be attended to. But it's just having a useless politician in a time of multiple enveloping crises is a terrible combination.

I think that's what we're seeing.

It really is because, as you say, we've got plenty of international things going on to worry about,

but he's managing to kind of take the attention away from that and focus it on himself and the uselessness of his own party because he's now embroiled in sort of suspending labor MPs including

Diane Abbott yesterday, which is never going to end well for somebody like him because

when he goes up against people like that, you know, they will dig in. Diane Abbott will bury

him. Diane Abbott, for whatever you may think of her, is a veteran MP. She's the mother of the

...
