We start with the story that I think is extraordinary.

A teacher has been banned from working with children after telling a Muslim child that Britain is still a Christian state. According to the child

who made the complaint, the preacher told them that school was not a religious one, but in fact

there was an Islamic school a mile away if they wished to attend it. The primary school teacher

was referred to the police. He was referred to the local child protection board over comments he

made. I don't know at this point if he's suspended, sacked or whatever. My question this morning

to my wonderful 11 viewers is, are we still a Christian country? Then have I missed the point?

We are a Christian country. Of course, we welcome other religions, creeds.

That's the way we've always been.

This is the separate issue of immigration.
