It's August again, so buckle up.

It's another one of those fun political episodes.

August episodes are usually late on this show,

just because so many interesting and, frankly, bad things tend to happen

that a lot of political analysts in Russia

tend to picture the August as the darkest, grimmest month of the year,

when everything concerns Russia or the posts of its

fear, and have to admit that this year hasn't really been an exception.

Originally, I wanted to make this episode just after everything that happened in Afghanistan.

But now we have reactions to that, and the Russian side's ideas, and at one point it seemed

like Putin might have some issues
