Steve Anglesey and the journalist Jerry Scott. We're going to be talking about the news of the week.

But first, Steve and I are going to reflect a little bit on the terrible atrocity that occurred at the Manchester Arena on Monday night.

Steve, obviously, an incredibly sad, shocking, tragic week.

How do you think the city responded?

Well, I mean, it was magnificent as the aftermath of the response has been from

local people in the aftermath of all of these attacks across Europe. But the things. But the, the, the things that stand out, obviously,

are the taxi drivers, the homeless guy, the work that was, has been put in by the football clubs.

I mean, it was just, it is just a superb response to, you know, it's the saddest of things.

There is a, there is a sort of a swaggering thing about Manchester, which I think a lot of other cities don't really understand.

I think it's shared by, actually it's shared by a lot of northern cities.

Liverpool certainly has it.
