Why does your tummy rumble?

Why does your stomach rumble, Bo? Well, when you're hungry, your brain is talking to your stomach.

Maybe you've smelled something delicious.

Bread baking, toast cooking, other foods that, well, more than just bready stuff.

So your brain thinks you're about to eat.

It sends hormones and chemicals to your stomach, saying get ready. Prepare yourselves. You're about to be

hit by food. Now, the grumbling that you hear is the movement of your stomach muscles, the organs,

your intestines there, but the problem is your stomach is empty. So the sound is bouncing around it more,

like a voice, a lonely voice in a cave, it's echoing around. And there's nothing in there. There's

no food to muffle the noise. So that's why your stomach is rumbling. It thinks you're getting

ready for food. The muscles are preparing themselves, but there's nothing to muffle that sound, Bo. Thank you so

pumps blood around your body. Your heart has two sides to it, and it pumps oxygenated blood all around your body.

So the blood rushes into one half of the heart which pushes it around the lungs and it collects
