Most of us don't know if we're going to make money or not. We don't know if we're going to make money next week.

Two weeks from now, a month from now, this year. It's the nature of the beast. It's our industry, it's residential construction.

And while there is a way to guarantee that you are going to make money,

you may not always be able to execute at the level that you want.

You cannot run a business, establish a business, grow a business based on over executing with regard to the budget or the schedule.

up. How's everyone doing? I was just on, uh, it wasn't a podcast. I had a questionnaire that I had to answer and they were like you can record this via video

And Nick was one who actually made me think of it. He's like let's just go on the podcast and record it

And Nick was busy doing something else so I sat down I record it myself but it ended up being like an hour and a half long and I

started thinking after the fact I was like they're gonna have to listen to this.

I don't know if they intended on sitting

and listening to an hour and a half of this

when I could have just typed out the responses.

But they'll probably have AI pull all the information from it and generate a written response anyway.

So maybe it's six to one, half dozen of the other.

It doesn't matter either way but I just got done that

So I'm exhausted. I just talked to myself for an hour and a half and I'm gonna talk to myself for another half hour 45 minutes

I also had another consulting call today with a guy out of Vermont.

A lot of what we experience in this industry is very similar, whether you're just starting out in business like this guy is and he's not new to the business he's just new in the business

starting with business himself or you've been in a dozen years 20 years if you were

big you're small there's so many things that we struggle on as

business owners as parents and it's it's really tough to constantly,
