This is the week where it officially feels like an election year, as the vice president of the United States, J.D. Vance, has visited Kansas City to talk about

catching fraud all over the country and working with manufacturing as he appeared here with so many

dignitaries and gave a tremendous speech in Kansas City.

And we've got all the primary races taking place, everybody jockeying for position and all

the things that are going on with Jockeying for position and all the things

that are going on with J.D. Vance out on the road looking like he's running for 2028, but perhaps

just setting something up for the midterms. Marco Rubio making videos, traveling around the world,

giving great speeches, having great answers. It's starting to feel like a political year.

It's still early. Primary's coming up August

4th in Missouri. We'll talk with Chris DeGall here shortly as he's running for Congress in

Missouri's 6th District, but he was part of the festivities at the J.D. Vance event. He's got a big

event coming up on Tuesday night in Kearney, Missouri at the Updike Barn from 6 to 730. If you'd like to go, it's free to attend. The meal's free. They've got pulled pork, pulled chicken, all kinds of barbecue. If you'd like to go meet Chris DeGall or ask a question of Chris DeGall, whether you're in the district or not, doesn't really matter. You can be a Kansan and go over and meet him and ask questions and

maybe make a donation if you'd like or get involved to help the campaign. Maybe you have a

company that like to help get involved. I have stated to pretty much every politician that's

reached out to me at this point that's a conservative. I just think it's a pretty simple position

that I'm in. You know I'm going to support the Republican candidate in the general election. But we're in a primary right now, and in most of these cases, I don't know who to vote for. I'm going to find out in my district, in my area, who to vote for in the primary. And maybe I'll share that with you. Maybe I won't. It doesn't really matter. But in the others, if I don't really know somebody, then it doesn't make sense for me to say, oh, yeah, this is the one that, you know, somebody else scored this person is more conservative than the other. I'll let everybody that listens to podcast decide that. But not in the case of Chris de Gaul. I've known the man for over 25 years. He not only is a tremendous broadcaster, he's the kind of person

that's easy to work with, okay, is always prepared, knows what he's doing, and has increasingly

throughout his life become more laser focused on the most important things, which are his

faith and family. and now a call
