Welcome to the Roadwire Prospect podcast. I'm your host James Anderson. It is the first or the final Wednesday of the month, which means it's time for a mailbag episode. I really appreciate all the questions you all sent in. I will not be able to answer all of them on the podcast.

We'll get to as many of them as I can.

A few of them require a bit more digging than I had time for and just kind of just

generally not going to have time to get to all of them.

But as always, I will post an article version of the podcast on the site either today or tomorrow.

And then it's really going to be kind of draft stuff for me between now and then.

We'll be updating the top 400 prospect rankings in mid to late July, but not really working on that update until the draft is in the book.

So I don't have a firm date for when that update will be live on the site.

But let's get right into the questions.

First one is from Trader Andy, Stack Attack podcast. Andy plays in a Diocese

League with me. He wants to know with the struggles of Miguel Vargas and Tristan Casas, are you still

high on them? Why have they struggled?

And do you still see them as fantasy assets moving forward?

Vargas is the more surprising of the two to me.

He is still making really elite swing decisions,

excellent plate skills. He's been pretty obviously very unlucky on balls and play.

And I think he's probably got to do a little bit of tinkering. I'd like to see more line drives,

for instance. And his hard hit rate is way down compared to last year.
