Hello friends and neighbors. Well, Donald Trump is the third person to be impeached,

but the only president to be impeached twice. But that's not the only way he made history.

In the short space of four years, Donald Trump managed to take over the Republican

Party, render the Congress useless and ineffective, undermine trust in the electoral process,

destroy our relations with foreign allies, make enemies of members of the media, and so more

division among Americans than ever existed before, all the while insisting that he and

not Joe Biden won the last election.

One favorite target of Donald Trump was California Congressman Adam Schiff, manager of the

first impeachment trial whom Donald Trump called a liar and scum.

But Trump's now out of office, and Adam Schiff is still in office.

And the good congressman's out with a blockbuster new book on the first impeachment trial,

which documents how close we came to losing our democracy under Donald Trump and might still do so if Trump ever returns to power. His new book is called

Midnight in Washington, how we almost lost our democracy and still could. And it is number one on the New York
