Summary

THIS IS A PREVIEW PODCAST. NOT THE FULL REVIEW. Please check out the full podcast review on our Patreon Page by subscribing over at - https://www.patreon.com/NextBestPicture Our 2011 retrospective continues, and with the Cannes Film Festival right around the corner, we're reviewing two Best Picture nominees from this year that had their world premieres at the infamous international film festival. First up is Woody Allen's "Midnight In Paris," starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Michael Sheen, Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, and Carla Bruni. While Josh Parham, Dan Bayer and I do acknowledge Allen is a controversial figure, his Oscar-winning 2011 film could not be ignored for our retrospective as we discuss its merits and flaws and dissect it through a 2023 lens. Please tune in to hear what we thought of the story, the performances, its awards run, and more. Thank you for all your support, and enjoy! Also, be sure to check out our other 2011 retrospective reviews for "War Horse," "The Help," & "The Iron Lady." Check out more on NextBestPicture.com Please subscribe on...
