We learned about the sad death of Sir Frank Williams a true F1 legend

I've been watching F1 since the mid 80s and

That team was always at the center of all my F1 enjoyment

It was at the center of my F1 hopes and dreams and passions and all of that was funneled through support of

Williams

They were the team that made me love Formula One

They provided the chariot for my first hero Nigel Manson for those of you who can

Remember back that far and I was even a Ricardo Patrazi fan in like year six and seven at school

just because he drove a Williams eye

I screamed at the TV as the number zero car of Damon Hill was robbed

By Michael Schumacher and then whooped with Joy along with my dad as he collected the championship in the Williams

just two years later and

Drivers I would have had no interest in otherwise

became favorites in our households

Just because they drove a Williams F1 car that team has been racing since before I was born and I've never known an F1 without them

And the first Williams to race in F1. I believe was the F-W

0-6 and each chassis is F-W something

And that is of course named after Frank Williams the Williams team released this statement earlier
