And this is just a situation that infatuates the world.

There's almost a romanticism to it.

It's so longstanding.

There's so much history to it.

It's so complex.

And despite that complexity, it seems very easy for people who know, very little,

about the situation, to take very strong stances in this situation.

And those strong stances have increased over time.

The best way to understand this is through the lens of victims and oppressors.
