Welcome back into the Lions 24-7 podcast. I am Tyler Donny, who he is Daniel Gowan, and we are set to guide you through a bit of a mid-spring progress report here.

After a look at Penn State on the field Thursday, we spent a couple hours at team facilities, spoke to head coach Matt Campbell,

spoke with offensive coordinator, Taylor Mazzer, a few different players. And most importantly,

though, we spent that extended time on the field, on the sideline. I had my eyes on the defense.

Daniel was focused in on the offense. Brennan, team Brennan, I should say, Mark and Grace had their camera shooting in all directions.

daniel i feel like we're to the point now where we can kind of sort of trust that the spring weather

is here to stay i'm looking out my window i'll be writing outside of my back patio when we finish this podcast. And that means that we're moving along.

Eight practices into the spring camp. There will be 15 in total finishing up on April 25th with

the blue-white festivities in Beaver Stadium. We hope to see many of our listeners and viewers

over there at back of the stadium in a couple weeks.

But certainly speaking with Matt Campbell, hearing from Taylor Mouser a bit, and really getting a sense on the field.

I don't know about you, but the team is starting to come together a bit instead of looking on the field and me seeing a bunch of individual pieces

as we covered this in a lot of different ways over the winter you're starting to see a bit of

a jelling process occur for a team now that they've had a chance to go pop the pads a bit go through

some highs and lows on the field together and they're coming into the second half of spring ball

with some clear goals

in mind what do you make of what we're seeing so far from Penn State yeah if it was just like a

five to seven degrees warmer it would be perfect right now but it's still just I tried to sit outside for

a little bit yesterday evening and do some work but couldn't quite the dials not quite turned there
