Oh, welcome back to Fearless. I'm Sissy Graham Lynch. And I was just thinking,

these last few months here on Fearless, we have covered some really tough and heavy subjects.

Everything from the voting guide that we did back in the fall to even the last few episodes we've had here in the spring,

it's just been tough.

So I had something else planned for today

and I was just thinking,

I need something a little less. Thank you for having me. I've been waiting for you to ask me to be on your podcast.

It's been about two years. If you've missed any of the previous episodes with Corey on it,

he has been on Fearless a couple times to talk about football, NFL, college football. I'm sure we've discussed everything else in between.

But welcome back because today we're going to discuss, and I say it's less heavy,

but maybe it's heavy depending on which point of view we're looking. You just had a birthday this

week. Not excited. It was a big one. You want to tell everybody how old you turned? 40 years old.

I will say, I was a little surprised of how hard this was for you to turn 40. I thought you would be like,

you would not care because you normally don't care. You're kind of a steady eddy personality for most people. Sometimes I don't

get such a steady eddy. But I was shocked how hard. Why was this hard for you? I don't know. I feel

like you're officially like 100% adult 40. Then maybe I just wasn't ready for that. I can remember my dad turning 40. We were at Samaritan's purse.

He had a big party.

And for some reason, everybody gave him water guns.

That was his number one thing.

And your dad, you were talking about he was 40 when he brought you to Appalachian State to play football.
