So I want to, before we get to our prophecy update today, do two things, the first of which, and I'll just be very brief,

I want to take a moment to thank everyone for your overwhelming response. And again, one of the reasons we do this before the update is

because, especially for the benefit of our online church, I want to reserve the end of the

prophecy update to share the gospel. And so that's kind of a sacred time, and I don't want

to talk about these kinds of things at the end.

So last week I had, the Lord had convicted me and humbled me and I, in my pride, didn't

want to ask, but the Lord really humbled me in that regard and I brought our financial need to God's

people as it relates to what we need in order to complete the renovation of our new building.

And I have to tell you that the response was just overwhelming.

And I just want to say thank you to all of you who gave so generously and cheerfully.

It is so encouraging, it's humbling.

And as such, we're going to continue to update you as we move forward by faith.

We're going to trust that God is going to provide all the necessary funds that we need.

God knows what our need is to complete this, His Church.

And so I just wanted to say thank you, especially those of you online who gave so generously.

The second thing I want to do before we get to our update is do a Memorial Day tribute.

I was actually looking back over the last couple years and I was in Israel last time with a number of you.

So we didn't do a Memorial Day tribute.

Then the year before that was, I think it was on a staycation because I wasn't in the pulpit on Memorial Day.

So it's been a couple of years. But, and I think maybe in a way that's why I wanted to take the time today to commemorate and honor the memory and really honor the families

of those who have fought for and died for our country. I was thinking about this this morning

and I was just a young kid during Vietnam but so many of my friends
