I know that you know what I'll be addressing today for our prophecy update, so I want to get right to this matter at hand concerning yesterday's false alarm of a North Korean ballistic missile threat.

I actually got up at 2.30 this morning, and so you'll forgive me in

advance if I yawn during my own teaching. That's pretty bad when the pastor's yawning during

his own sermon, but it's okay if you do it. It's just not okay if I do it. But anyway, I just really was seeking the Lord about

postponing the teaching through Ephesians. And so that's what we're going to do. Next week,

Lord willing, we'll get back to it on the 21st. Not only did I want to devote our time today to what happened yesterday, I also

didn't want to try to take and tackle this touchy topic that we have in Ephesians 1.

And those of you that are nodding your head read ahead to stay ahead. You know exactly what I'm talking

about. We're going to be dealing with Lord willing again next week, barring anymore false

alarms, but Lord willing will discuss and talk about things like Calvinism and predestination and Armenianism and all of the above,

which are very important matters doctrinally to cover. So I didn't want to tackle that today. So Lord willing, we'll do that next week.

So yesterday was one of those days that I suppose you could say will be remembered as a where were you when it happened day for me when the alert came in I was

actually in the process of preparing today's prophecy update which I always do on

Saturdays and I was actually going to talk about the developments concerning the Iran nuclear deal

and also the developments in the UN concerning Jerusalem, pardon me, as the capital of Israel.

As I was doing that, of course, the alert came in. It was all in caps. And when I first started reading it,

like many of you, perhaps, I thought, oh, this must be a drill. And then I read the words,

this is not a drill. So I thought, okay, I guess it's not a drill. And my first thought

was, wow, last week I mentioned that this could be the last prophecy update that we did.

I thought, wow, maybe it is.

Now, my oldest son happened to be at the house at that time, and so we all got together as a family. And I was really encouraged because there was no fear, there was just this peace, and we knew where we were going to go.
