I'm Lou Dobbs with this great America show mid-day update Hunter Biden to be indicted

by the end of the month.

Special counsel David Weiss informing the court last night that he plans to indict Hunter

Biden before the end of the month.

Weiss wrote to the court saying the Speedy Trial Act requires the government to obtain

the return of an indictment by September 29th.

But he says he intends to seek the return of that indictment before that date.

Well, we shouldn't be taking too much of this at face value, should we?

Reports are that Weiss will pursue felony gun charges against Hunter as well as tax evasion

charges.

But it also may be nothing more than a subterfuge, all orchestrated, to get Hunter Biden off

Scott Free.

There's no obvious motive for the sudden reversal by the special counsel strategy, which

would put the president's son and apparent legal jeopardy, while they've all worked

for years to protect him.
