Hello everybody I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday

for Friday September 20th.

After two failed assassination attempts to House of Representatives today

finally passed a bill to enhance Secret Service protection for Donald Trump.

Imagine that, over two months after the first attempt, they now decide its time.

It really makes you wonder, folks.

It seems this was the first bipartisan vote members took in a very long time with the unanimous vote passing

it 405 to 0, a rare showing of bipartisanship in Congress.

We now wait and see if the Senate can follow in suit.

If passed by the Senate and signed into law by Joe Biden,

the bill would mandate a comprehensive review of US Secret Service protective standards

and impose uniform standards for the security of presidents,

vice presidents, and major White House candidates.

New polling out from Virginia has the Harris campaign trembling.

The University of Washington Center for Leadership and Media Studies poll shows that Harris and Trump are in a dead heat both polling at 45%.

Those of you that follow this show daily have heard me refer to Virginia in every interview I do with any pollster.

I think there's a real chance of flipping Virginia Red, which can completely change the political

landscape for this election.

And in other polling news, the Marxist-left run New York Times out with a new poll today showing Donald Trump is more

favorable than get this Taylor Swift. The poll showed that 47% of respondents

had a favorable opinion of Trump while just 44% viewed Swift as favorable.

More than 2,400 likely voters were surveyed for the poll.
