Promises broken and history-made Kevin McCarthy lost the speakership,

largely because he did back room and side deals with the Marxist Dims and Joe Biden.

He's the first speaker in American history to have been voted out of office,

and now the race is on to see who replaces him.

Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio has just announced he's running to be the new speaker,

the highly respected and well-regarded chairman of the House Judiciary Committee,

is in my opinion the most qualified and talented successor to McCarthy.

And the House Majority Leader, Steve Scalice, has said to be positioning himself

behind the scenes as well.

Whip Tom Emmer has also been mentioned as interested.

President Trump has said he'd be open to serving his speaker for a short term

if it would help the Republicans.

Newt Gingrich, no fan of the rough and tumble of the political arena and the Washington circus.

He called the Freedom Caucus and other conservatives in the House traitors.

Gingrich furious that his friend was betrayed, but he didn't mention that McCarthy flat out lied

to the conference and the conservatives, promising regular order that he wouldn't move legislation
