Hello everybody. I'm John Fawson with this Great America Show Midday Update for Tuesday, October 28th.

Happy Tuesday, folks. Senate Democrats have once again turned their backs on the American brave

servicemen and women rejecting for the 13-time a crucial bill that would ensure that military

paychecks continue to flow and reopen the government. The government shut shutdown now, dragging into its 28th day,

has left essential workers, including active duty troops,

air traffic controllers, and border patrol agents without pay,

forcing many to rely on food banks and community support just to make ends meet, folks.

The Senate failed to advance a House pass continuing resolution

for the 13-time, casting a 54 to 45 vote.

Of course, falling short of that 60 vote threshold needed.

The bill in question was brought forward by House Republicans aimed to reopen the government by providing temporary funding while addressing key policy priorities, including military pay and aviation safety.

That's right.

Your air traffic

controller folks, they're not being paid right now, so you're supposed to be flying safe,

not worry about anything, as those folks, some of them out driving for Uber Eats and Grubhub

to make ends meet while the government turns their back on them. Pretty, pretty sad that this is what the Democrats are allowing to happen here in America,

just to try to make a point to make Donald Trump look bad.

It's not working, folks, and I think it's going to hurt them come the midterm elections

when American voters open their eyes to see that the Democrats have played politics this entire time.

And speaking of the corrupt Marxist Dems, the Biden-O-Pen scandal has taken a new turn,

and the Department of Justice may soon get involved.
