Hello everybody. I'm John Fawson with this Great America Show Midday Update for Monday, October 13th.

Happy Columbus Day, folks. That's right. It's called Columbus Day again. President Donald Trump,

cheering Israeli lawmakers, the long, painful nightmare is finally over after helping broker a ceasefire

between Israel and Hamas and Gaza. During first address since the U.S. President since 2008,

Trump said the day would mark the, quote, moment that everything began to change and change very

much for the better in the Middle East. President Trump's address to the Israeli parliament comes on

the day that the last 20 living hostages held in the Palestinian enclave were released by Hamas.

Israeli is releasing 250 Palestinian prisoners and more than 1,700 other Palestinian detained during the two-year

military operation in Gaza. During a whirlwind trip to the region, Trump is also attending

the peace summit in Egypt alongside Egyptian president and other world leaders.

After President Trump touched down in Egypt, he said the second phase of negotiations on a peace

agreement were underway.

We're going to get a lot of people joining the Abraham Accords.

We have the four great nations that did it early on, and they stayed with it.

And then you had the Biden administration, which is the worst administration in the history of our country.

And obviously, they did nothing on that and anything else.

And so it stayed at four. And now a lot of people, even today, they're talking on that and anything else. And so it's stated for now a lot of people,

even today, they're talking about all joining up. So so many people have talked to me about that.

And it's going to be a great tribute to really the United States. I mean, the United States has worked
