Hello everybody. I'm John Fawson with this Great America show Midday Update for Friday,

November 22nd. Well, New York judge Juan Murchant, you know, the man who's in charge of the Trump

hush money, Stormy Daniels, sham case, the one that Alvin Bragg brought.

Well, today, Judge Juan Merchant delayed Trump's November 26th sentencing in Alvin Bragg's case

indefinitely.

Merchant gave Trump's lawyers until December 2nd to file a motion to dismiss.

Trump previously asked the judge to overturn a conviction or toss the case altogether.

So the thing that just doesn't make a lot of sense about this case is President Trump

was set to be sentenced about two weeks ago.

And when Trump's lawyers asked for the case to just be thrown out or overturned, Murchant

said, no, we're going to push forward and we're going to sentence you on November 26th.

Prior to that happening, just after the 2024 election in November, uh, Judge Juan Merchant apparently mulled,

throwing out the case altogether just days after the election.

Then flip flop said, no, he was being sentenced.

Then once again,

Flipflop said he wasn't going to be sentenced. Now we're back at, um, it's being postponed

indefinitely. So not really making much sense what's up with Merchant and what he's going to

ultimately do, but nonetheless, uh, I think Trump's in very good shape right now as he heads
