I'm Lou Dobbs with this great America midday update for Wednesday, November 1st.

We're today that Egyptians have reopened the Rafa crossing in southern Gaza.

Families in wounded Palestinians getting out of Gaza now, some Westerners as well.

That number is about 500 all of those names agreed upon in negotiations led by Qatar.

And food aid is also being allowed in.

The Israeli ground assault continues in northern Gaza.

The bombardment continues turkeys president Erdogan talking about sending in Turkish forces.

So we're looking at the possibility of what could be a widening war in the Middle East.

Very easily Biden is sending more troops to the region asking for more billions of dollars.

And obviously hasn't a single clue as to what's going on.

Neither does his national security team who reportedly are holding secret talks to station

U.S. troops in Gaza when Hamas is defeated.

What a moronic, irresponsible and flammatory initiative by these Marxists dim fools in the Biden

administration. So the pressing question really is when will Congress and the Senate,

national media and the rest of the country understand we have no idea who is making presidential

decisions for the impaired, feeble and often confused president.

He's at best a figurehead of the U.S. government.

So urgently the question is who would act as commander-in-chief if need be?

We need answers to these critical questions now.

The stakes are rising by the day.
