Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawson with this Great American Show Midday Update for Tuesday, March 3rd.

Happy Tuesday, folks. The attacks on Iran continue, Israeli forces struck the Iranian Supreme Council this afternoon as they gathered to choose yet another successor to the late Ayatollah al-Iqamini.

The IDF targeted Iran's leadership complex in the central Tehran overnight, describing it as the regime's most central and significant headquarters.

Specific targets included the presidential office and the building housing, the Supreme National Security Council,

the key body advising the Supreme Leader on their national security and their foreign policy.

Other elements of the leadership compound used by top officials

from meetings, compound control, and related infrastructure. The IDF stated that about 100 fighter jets

dropped over 250 munitions on the complex following intelligence collection aimed at degrading Iran's

command and control systems. Now this is the third or fourth time, to which bombs

have been dropped on locations, to which a successor was being picked to succeed the Ayatollah

Khomeini. Spain is breaking with the European Union powers and bars America's use of bases in the escalating

Middle East conflict. Spain has moved to distance itself from the escalating U.S. Israel

military campaign against Iran, refusing now to allow American forces to use jointly operated

bases on Spanish soil for strike operations. The decision marks a sharp divergence from other European

powers that have signal willingness to back what they described as proportionate defense actions.

Flight tracking data showed that at least 15 American aircrafts departed from the Rota Naval

Base on Moran Air Base in southern Spain following the weekend's attack. Several of those aircraft

were identifies as KC-135s, aerial refueling planes. At least seven of the aircrafts were tracked

and landing at Ramstad Air Force Base in Germany. Others were seen headed towards France,

though some flight paths were not publicly visible.
