Congressman Massey says House Speaker Mike Johnson could simply declare the

J6 Committee to be illegitimate and to rescind the Committee's subpoena that they

issued to ban him.

Yale Law Professor Jed Rubinfeld says Trump is not a convicted felon. Not yet anyway.

Professor Rubenfeld said under New York law,

President Trump will not be a convicted felon

until the judge enters a judgment of guilty

at his sentencing, which isn't set until July 11th.

Professor Rubenfeld also says,

there are a number of ways to prevent that judgment from ever being put in place, including suing

in federal court to halt the conviction.

President Trump could stop the judge from entering the judgment while federal courts hear his appeal.
