Republican senators warn Judge Juan Merchant not to sentence President Trump to home confinement or prison. The Hill reporting that warning extends to

any effort by the judge to interfere with President Trump's ability to

campaign for the presidency before the November 5th election. the views from legal experts for his careful handling of the case, in quote.

The top legal experts in the country were quite the opposite, critical of Merchant for everything from denying the defense motions for a change of venue,

for not recusing himself for his gag orders against President Trump,

for his one-sided rulings on evidence and motions in favor of the prosecution

and for his anti-Trump demeanor throughout the trial.

And the chairman of the Powerful Ways and Means Committee criminally referring Hunter

Biden for lying to Congress.

Chairman Jason Smith says Hunter lied under oath in his closed-door deposition to Congress to the committee back in February.

Subsequently, a whistleblower turned over to the committee documents contradicting

Hunter's testimony.
