Congress has passed the Save Act by a vote of 221 to 198.

The Save Act would require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections.

Nearly every Democratic lawmaker voted to protect the ability of illegals to vote in our federal

elections. The bill amends the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to

require voters to show documentary proof of United States citizenship.

Under current law, states can only require proof of citizenship

to register to vote in local and state elections.

The bill now heads to the Senate where it is likely dead on arrival because it would surely hinder any plan the Dems could use to cheat in future elections, including but not limited to allowing illegals to vote in our elections.
