Hello everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show Midday Update for Saturday,

January 11th. I hope you all are having a great weekend. It's off to a great start and you're

staying warm. If you're up here in the northeast and if you're in the south, we're envious of you

and very jealous of the nice warm weather you guys are having down there. Folks out west,

the L.A. wildfires are continuing to burn,

and the folks of L.A. may have finally had enough with their Marxist Dems running the joint.

Los Angeles residents are demanding that Mayor Karen Best be immediately recalled

as fires continue to devastate their community.

As of this morning, their change.org petition has over

60,000 verified signatures on people who are calling for her to step down and re-recalled.

Also, a new report out that California Governor Gavin Newscombe, as President Trump likes to call him,

apparently cut $100 million from the fire prevention budget in

2024, this according to a new Newsweek report.

Karen Bass also slashed about $20 million from her city budget for fire services for the current

fiscal year, that according to Breitbart.

Folks, I don't know about you, but it really makes me wonder just who these Marxist Dems work for, and what is their main goal?

What is their objective?

Why would you be cutting fire budgets, both as the mayor and as the governor?

When you know, California is extremely prone to forest fires, they're extremely prone to issues with their poor wildlife management that they

connect seem to understand to get to get together. It doesn't really make much sense what these

folks are doing. And Joe Biden, who's America last, issuing some deportation protections

for hundreds of thousands of migrants for more than three countries right before President Trump is set to take office.
