Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawson with this Great America show, Midday Update for Monday, February 3rd.

Hope you folks all had a great weekend. Your week's off to a great start. Promises made, promises kept.

The trade wars are underway. Oh, it's not really a trade war, but that's what the Marxist Dems want you to think when they

broadcasts on their mainstream Marxist networks, we're in a trade war,

we're in a trade war with Mexico and Canada and China. That's not entirely true. President

Trump enacting his tariffs on Saturday they go into effect tomorrow, or actually tonight at

midnight. Markets didn't react too well to them at the open this morning,

but since rebounding, Dow is in the green.

Nasdaq down slightly and the S&P also down slightly, but they've come back a long way.

Some of the indices down multiple hundred points.

So, Canada is not relenting.

Justin Trudeau wants to be the big tough guy in the race,

pledging not to buy any American made bourbon or whiskey or anything that Americans make

one province in Canada actually canceling an order of Star Links or $100 million.

That's fine. They can go without the internet. That's on them. Jokes on them.

But what President Trump is simply asking

these countries to do is to just stop the inflow of migrants at their border with America.

Is that too much to ask war? Well, if you ask Justin Trudeau, it's too much to ask for.

He wants to be the dictator and savior of the day, the big shot. Well, if he were to

succeed against President Trump, it would be the first person, at least in my lifetime, to

succeed against President Trump in recent years at least. I don't see Trudeau as the man who's

going to go ahead and do that. We saw what President Trump did to those 16 Republicans on the stage in 2016,
