Hello everybody. I'm John Fawc with this Great America Show Midday Update for Thursday, April 23rd.

Happy Thursday, folks. I hope you all having a great day and the weekend is almost here.

But before that, let's get to some news of the day. President Trump has ordered the U.S. military

to shoot and kill any small Iranian boats that are deploying mines in the street of Harmuz.

President Trump releasing the message this afternoon, a day after

Iran again displayed its ability to thwart traffic through the channel. President Trump's

post on Trude Social came shortly after the U.S. military seized yet again another tanker associated

with smuggling Iranian oil, ratcheting up his standoff with Tehran over the Strait, which over 20% of all crude oil and natural gas trades passed.

President Trump's message on Trude Social reads as follows, quote,

I've ordered the U.S. Navy to shoot and kill any boats, small boats, throw they may be,

that is putting mines in the water of the Strait of Hormuz.

President Trump adding that the U.S.

mineswebers are clearing the strait right now, and he is hereby ordering the activity to

continue, but to be tripled up at level. Meanwhile, it's unclear when if any time the two sides

would meet again in Pakistan, where mediators are trying to bring the countries together to reach

our diplomatic deal.

President Trump in the Oval Office just moments ago says they've already hit 78% of targets.

If Iran doesn't come to the table, he's just going to finish the job.

I took the country out militarily in the first four weeks.

I took it out militarily.

Now what we're doing is sitting back and seeing what deal.
