Hello everybody. I'm John Fawson with this Great America Show Midday Update for Wednesday, April 15th, folks.

April 15th, you all know what day it is as Americans. It's a day. I think that we all try to escape

since getting our first job, minimum wage job making five, six, seven bucks an hour. The older generation

making a few bucks an hour. It's tax day, folks, but the good news is under this Trump administration.

There's been a few changes you may have heard about, no tax on tip, deductibility on car loans for American-made cars.

I don't take my word for it.

Let's take a listen to the head of Social Security, Frank Bezignano, as he laid out

earlier today, the massive, massive, massive changes to our tax code in the successful tax

filing season because of this administration. The landmark legislation led by President Trump

and Secretary Bessent and the Republicans

now has over 53 million Americans who have had a deduction from it.

30 million actually the senior benefit.

And that 6 million filers have had no tax on tip.

25 million filers had no tax on overtime, and over 30 million seniors, as I said, and one million for the car loan deduction.

When you look at all of this, it's the reason we talk about the historic refunds.

The largest amount of refunds, 80 million going out, and over $280 million,

$280 billion in refunds. We have 10% more people receiving a refund this year, while refunds on the absolute, they're up 11%. Total refunds paid

out are up 16%.

And for Trump accounts, another landmark legislation, which is creating generations of the

future's ability to be financially savvy and be able to participate.

Five million have been opened up for dependents,

one million for newborns this year already,
