Hello everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show Midday Update for Wednesday, March 25th.

The Pentagon is preparing to deploy about 3,000 troops from the Army's 82nd Airborne

Division to the Middle East, according to multiple reports. Politico's reporting that the deployment

would add thousands of Marines already heading to the region to defense officials confirm

the plan troop deployment. Pentagon officials said no decision has been

made yet to send troops into Iran. That reporting is attributed to the Wall Street Journal.

The U.S. currently has about 50,000 troops in the area. The troop increase follows ongoing

U.S. military operations against Iran. U.S. Central Command said strikes have destroyed thousands

of military targets since February 28th,

and President Trump took action and announced the beginning of Operation Epic Fury.

The New York Times previously reported that the Pentagon was considering deploying the 82nd airborne to the area

as Iran continued drone and missile attacks in the region this afternoon.

Trump said he delayed additional strikes due to conversations with Tehran, which are geared

towards it peace deal, which he says are going well.

I guess we're just going to have to wait and see.

The Democrat induced airport nightmare is finally hitting members of Congress as it should

have done since day one.

It's going to be hitting homes for these members. Delta Airlines, which is headquartered in Atlanta, is suspending a specialty service desk

for federal lawmakers until the TSA is fully funded. I think it's great on Delta's part that they're

holding these low lives accountable for not paying our TSA agents for coming up on a month now, it's absolutely despicable.

Delta put out the statement said, due to the impact on resources from longstanding government shutdown, Delta will temporarily suspend special services to members of Congress flying on Delta.
