0:07.0	September 25, 1978. Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 182, abowing 727 with 135 people on board,
0:16.4	is approaching San Diego after an early morning flight from Sacramento then onto Los Angeles.
0:21.4	The weather is clear with plenty of visibility on the Salate Summer Southern California morning.
0:26.2	The three-person crew of this tri-jet are minutes away from landing when air traffic control
0:29.9	alerts them to a Cessna 172 approximately 3 miles away in front of them.
0:34.9	The captain tells air traffic control that the traffic is in sight and is instructed
0:38.6	to maintain visual separation.
0:40.2	80 seconds later, the 727 collides with the Cessna sending both planes corigning out of
0:45.4	control to the ground below into the North Park neighborhood of San Diego.
0:49.6	The crash kills everyone on board both planes, destroys 22 homes, kills 7 people on the ground,
0:55.6	and injures 9 others.
