Microsoft recently announced that it would stop bundling its team's communication software

with Microsoft 365 and Office 365 software packages in the European Union this month.

Microsoft's 365 bundles are cloud-based subscription packages that include various products in them,

like Windows, Word, Excel, and others.

The move resulted from a formal investigation announced by the European Commission.

The EU Commission was investigating whether Microsoft

was engaging in unfair business practices by using its overwhelming workplace software market share

to spur the adoption of its team's product over other communication and messaging platforms.
