that aims to exhaustively evaluate the world's most popular theme park rides to determine

if they are world class.

And I'm Byron Marin.

And for this episode's featured attraction

we'll hop on a wild loki motive to the picnic spot to discuss Mickey and Minnie's

runaway railway apologies for the mini goofy impressions that will have I actually have my

goofy watch on today because I'm a child I forgot to mention up top this is in Disneyland and Walt Disney World. As I recall, I think we rode this for the first time together, right? For my Bachelor Party. A little over a year ago, yeah, for your Bachelor Party, as bachelors do, they take their silly friends over to Disney World for a week. I took 10 of my friends to Disney World for my bachelor party. Some of them, not stoked. And by some of them, I mean 90% of them not stoked. Not everyone's a theme park head, but I got to say everyone collectively got off this ride pretty happy. Yeah, and we'll say, well, we're going to say some of that for first impressions, because we don't want to jump the gun here.

Let's jump into some history here.

It all started with a mouse, 1928, Steamboat Willie.

And kind of the rest is history.

This becomes, you know, the big, this is the icon of Disney.

Disney is not Disney without Mickey Mouse.

That being said, it took over 60 years for Imagineering to finally get that green light going

on a Mickey-based ride.

That's true.

We had never had a Mickey Mouse ride until now.

This comes out in March of 2020 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which is a pretty brutal time

to open up runaway railway.
