Well I try to convey the excitement and the drama of science as we begin to probe the ultimate nature of reality itself.

Yeah, and I'm profoundly interested by the nature of reality because I think that we've got it all wrong.

Well, how would you recreate reality if you were God?

Well, let me qualify my statement. I think we've got reality all wrong. I think that scientists

cling to the notion that consciousness is generated by the brain.

It's a byproduct of the neural processes, right?

And so you're on that team?

Yeah, that's right.
