and findings from Michigan's alleged advanced scouting scheme,

also the recruiting violations that were found throughout. So I don't know, like the best way

to start, I think, is with the punishments because I think that's what people are most interested in.

So I'm just going to read these out first. We're reacting to that.

All right. I'm just going to run through these penalties here. And then we'll get into the rest

of our discussion.

So from the NCAA, the official release today titled, Overwhelming Evidence shows impermissible scouting scheme in Michigan football program.

The subhead is Harbaugh's program, lacked compliance.

Football staff members failed to cooperate and committed recruiting violations.

So the punishments, the hammer, so to speak, that was supposed to come down today from the NCAA.

Four years of probation, financial penalties, a $50,000 fine plus 10% of the budget for the football program, a fine equivalent to the

anticipated loss of all postseason competition revenue sharing associated with the 2025 and

26 football seasons, a fine equivalent to the cost of 10% of the scholarships awarded

in Michigan football's program for the 2025-26 academic year.
