The second in school history, they break the Big Ten curse.

Their first championship since 1989, the Wolverines did it.

Sam, instant reaction Wolverines did it. Sam, it's a reaction. They did it.

The best team in Michigan basketball history, one of the best teams in Big Ten history,

bested by, I would say, that 7,600 feet of team. But when you consider the gauntlet that they had to go through,

this was a rough and rugged Big Ten, when you have Final Four team and other elite eight

teams writing to go undefeated on the road in that conference, to have only one blemish

in conference play.

And it'd be a Herculean effort.

And then in the Big Ten tournament where it's like,

we're getting ready for the postseason.

The collection of guys that they put together and their ability to exhibit selflessness

in a way that was about winning.

Not just about, you know, sticking up for your teammates.

No, this was sticking up for your teammates and for a common goal.

To allay maybe your desire to forward yourself, understanding that if you win, collectively, everyone

will be advanced. I like to say, Rise and Tide lifts all boats. Yeah, Michigan, Michigan is that

boat that was lifted by a great vision by Dusty May. And that's where I start. I mean,

when they made a decision to change, there was one guy from the beginning. Say, hey, if you're going to get a new coach, you're going to start a get Dusty May. Fortunately, I wasn't the only one thinking like that. And fortunately for for Michigan, he could really see

the value and the opportunity beyond what people would consider the blue bloods. Like, you know,
