Over the rival Michigan State Spartans, moved to five and three on the season. It just needed to get themselves in the win column in the worst way.

A little, a little bit of ruckus going on around me tonight.

Okay, I'll just say it because the guy ran away.

A drunk Spartan fan just got thrown out of the bar where we do our postgame shows every week.

Made a fool of himself, which is characteristic, perhaps a tribute.

Some of the things that happened at the end of this game, again, nothing crazy like the last time.

These two teams played in Ann Arbor, but some tomf Foolery afoot here in downtown Ann Arbor.

I'll just start by saying this about the game.

You never apologize for the win.

You take the win.

You needed this win.

This is one of those rivalry games where all you got to do is win by one point.

And you keep Paul Bunyan at home.

You make sure that you stay on top of this rivalry because there is no season that can be salvaged. There is no season where you can find any silver lining where you don't win this game. We'll talk about some of the good things on both sides and balls. Some of the things we were concerned about. But I don't know that this is one you puff your chest out about. I don't know this is one that you scream through the streets of Ann Arbor yelling little brother and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Because I think both of these programs have a lot of questions, but they needed this one in the worst way.
