Summary
In this episode, Zach Shaw and Steve Lorenz look back on the Michigan football team’s latest blowout win, in which the second-ranked Wolverines dispatched Indiana, 52-7. They also take a peek at some of the developing storylines for Michigan’s rivalry matchup against Michigan State.
They begin with a look back at what was Michigan’s most lopsided win of the season. They discuss Blake Corum’s historically excellent success rate on scoring touchdowns, and then turn their attention to JJ McCarthy, and discuss why his push to the Heisman Trophy and No. 1 overall draft selection are starting to look more serious. They also break down a defense that has improved at forcing turnovers, and isn’t letting anyone score in the red zone. They also look at some of their other observations from the game.
In the second half of the episode, they take a look at Michigan’s upcoming matchup against Michigan State, and some of the early storylines to emerge about the matchup.
